Moffatt Park is a small playground park at Aratula. It has a fenced-in playground and a picnic table beside it.
Aratula is a common stop along Cunningham Hwy with the bakery near Elizabeth St and the public toilets across the road, however, there is nothing to entertain the kids other than some goodies from the bakery.
Moffatt Park offers an alternative to stop at with the playground to entertain kids, perhaps after first picking up some goodies from the bakery and using the toilets across the road.
There are no facilities at Moffatt park, other than a water tap at the front of the park.
The park also allows access to an oval, although the main entrance to the oval is around the corner in Carter Rd.
The park and the oval are named after W. H. (Bill) Moffatt & A. R. (Scott) Moffatt in recognition for service to the community in Aratula. It was officially opened in September 1993.
