Kilkivan Museum contains a display of ore and mineral samples common to the district, and other mining-related exhibits and artefacts.
Displays include an old style parlour, bedroom, general store, and barbershop.
A schoolroom, kitchen, and shed with a buggy and wagon can also be viewed.
A self-served visitor centre is at the entry of the museum that is accessible out of opening hours.
Kilkivan Museum was not visited as it was closed at the time of arrival in Kilkivan.
