The Nullarbor Links Golf Course is an 18 hole course spread over 1,365 kilometres with one hole in each participating town or roadhouse along the Eyre Highway. Some holes are set up specifically for the course, others are a nominated hole at an established golf course.
Hole 6 of the Nullarbor Links Golf Course (or hole 13 in reverse) is a few metres east of the Western Australia/South Australia border along the Eyre Highway. It is a 160m Par 3 hole with a tree-lined fairway. The tee is found next to the Big Kangaroo (Rooey II) located at the eastern end of the truck stop.
The Border Village is 100 metres from crossing the border when heading east into South Australia.
The Tee is devoted to Don Harrington who headed up a syndicate to purchase the Border Village in 1987. The Border Village was destroyed in 2000, burnt to the ground. Don was instrumental in the rebuild of the roadhouse. Don has also contributed heavily towards the organisation and running of the annual Border Dash event. Don began with the dash in 1987, a fund raising event which raises money for local charities.
Card is stamped at the Border Village Roadhouse.
