The Big Mandarin is a 9-metre high fibreglass model of an Ellendale Mandarin at the Big Mandarin & Citrus Country Caravan Park in Mundubbera.
The Big Mandarin is used as a kiosk for the caravan park and is one of the “Big Things” around Australia, located around the back from the main road.
The caravan has powered and unpowered camping sites, on-site vans, budget rooms, ensuite cabins, self-contained apartments, camp kitchen, and swimming pool.
To get there:
From the Burnett Hwy from Gayndah, turn left into Mundubbera Durong Rd with a brown sign a short distance before it, or turn right if coming from Eidsvold. Follow Mundubbera Durong Rd for 1.3km and turn right into Landy St. After 80m turn right into Anne St, and the Big Mandarin is 90m on the right.
Coming from Boondooma along Mundubbera Durong Rd, after crossing over the bridge for the Burnett River, continue for 1.5km and turn left into Landy St. After 80m turn right into Anne St, and the Big Mandarin is 90m on the right.
