The Big Tasmanian Devil, or Big Tassie Devil, is one of Australia’s Big Things. It is 2 metres by 3 metres and sits at the entrance of the Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary at Mole Creek in northern Tasmania.
You can see the Big Tassie Devil from the entrance track along Mole Creek Road, without going into the conservation park.
The conservation based sanctuary is successful in the breeding of Tasmanian devils. It works for the conservation of other wildlife animals.
