The Spring Bluff Railway Station is on the main railway between Ipswich and Toowoomba. It is well known for its beautiful gardens and participation in Toowoomba’s Carnival of Flowers held in September each year.
Following the Cobb & Co Tourist Drive from Ipswich, it is the first gardens in the Carnival of Flowers. In contrast, it is one of a few locations that is based on the railway, the thing that helped make Cobb & Co services redundant.
Normal trains pass through the railway station but it doesn’t operate as a normal railway station. Trains operate during the Carnival of Flowers, between Spring Bluff and Toowoomba.
Spring Bluff Walking Circuit
From behind the railway station is a walking trail, taking you higher up the mountain. It is around 550m return.
