The Nobby Holy Trinity Lutheran Church was built in 1941, amalgamated from other churches in the surrounding areas.
With the growing popularity of cars, it was no longer necessary to have more churches spread out to make them accessible by horse.
The St Peter’s Lutheran Church of Mount Kent, which is referred to as the Original Lutheran Church Site 
, and St Peter’s Lutheran Church of Headington Hill were moved to Nobby where it was closer to the town.
As materials were difficult to get hold of during the war years, parts of the Headington Hill and Mount Kent were re-purposed in the new building.
The new church was made larger than the churches it replaced, catering for the population over a larger area.
The church has services most Sundays, with a Parish service on the 5th Sunday of the month. The 1st Sunday is at 10.30am, 2nd Sunday is at 8.30am, 3rd Sunday is at 11.00am, and the 4th Sunday is at 10.30am.

From Toowoomba, head south on the New England Hwy towards Warwick. After leaving Toowoomba, follow the New England Hwy for about 9.2km where Drayton Connection Rd joins the highway and veer left to continue towards Warwick. Continue for another 20.1km and turn right into Nobby Connection Rd with the brown sign for Rudds Pub and Nobby. Follow Nobby Connection Rd for 3.3km and turn left onto Greenmont Nobby Rd and continue for about 1.2km and continue straight ahead into Fett Rd at the brown sign for Lutheran Church, instead of crossing over the railway line. Continue on Fett Rd for 650m and the church is on the left just after the bend.
From Allora, coming out from Warwick St, head north towards Toowoomba. Follow the New England Hwy for 22.5km and turn left into Nobby Connection Rd with the brown sign for Rudds Pub and Nobby. Follow Nobby Connection Rd for 3.3km and turn left onto Greenmont Nobby Rd and continue for about 1.2km and continue straight ahead into Fett Rd at the brown sign for Lutheran Church, instead of crossing over the railway line. Continue on Fett Rd for 650m and the church is on the left just after the bend.
From Clifton, head north out of town on Felton Clifton Rd for 7.9km. Continue to the right crossing over the railway line and turn immediately after crossing to the right into Fett Rd at the brown sign for Lutheran Church, instead of crossing over the railway line. Continue on Fett Rd for 650m and the church is on the left just after the bend.
