Nashua is not a general tourist destination but it is nestled in the beautiful inland hinterland between Ballina and Byron Bay.
The name comes from a tribe of New England American Indians meaning “land between two rivers” or “river with the pebbled bottom”. Named by the Toohey brothers who planned to grow sugar cane but their crops failed.
There are accommodation options near and around Nashua on Booking.com or via Expedia.com.au.
